Émile Rouargue was a French engraver and illustrator. He worked with his brother Adolphe, also an engraver and illustrator. They were known for their work on architectural fantasies and illustrations of European cities. Their engravings were often used in periodicals and were popular among the general public due to their affordability. Émile Rouargue was born in Paris in 1796 and died in Epône, France in 1865.
