Biography:

Özlem Günyol is a Turkish artist born in Ankara in 1977. She studied at the Sculpture Department in Hacettepe University and graduated in 2001. She then moved to Frankfurt, where she currently lives and works with her partner Mustafa Kunt. Together, they have been collaborating on art projects since 2007. Günyol's work often explores themes of identity, borders, and globalization, and has been exhibited in numerous institutions around the world, including the MuseumsQuartier Wien, Residency Unlimited, Frieze, and the Elgiz Museum of Contemporary Art in Istanbul.
