Biography:
Dmitry Margolin is a Russian artist born in Leningrad (now Saint Petersburg) in 1982. He studied at the Leningrad Secondary Art School and later graduated from the Ilya Repin State Academic Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture in 2007. Margolin's works can be found in the permanent collection of the Erarta Museum of Contemporary Art. He is known for his expressionist contemporary art and has exhibited his paintings in various galleries, including a-s-t-r-a-gallery. Margolin's portfolio includes works such as 'Job and his Wife' (2012), 'Portrait' (2014-2015), and 'Book of the Dead' (2012). He has also been recognized by the European Parliament for his role in the Bolotnaya Square case, a political trial in Russia.
