Vhils is a Portuguese street artist, born in 1987 in Portugal. He became active in Lisbon in the early 2000s in the world of graffiti artists. He is known for his unique style of carving and etching portraits into walls, revealing layers of history and culture. In 2008, he was invited by Banksy to participate in the Cans Festival in London, where he gained international recognition. He has since exhibited his work in galleries and public spaces around the world, and has become one of the most renowned street artists of his generation.
