Biography:

Algimantas Svegzda was a Lithuanian painter and graphic artist. He studied at the Vilnius Academy of Art and later taught there as well. Svegzda's work is characterized by two distinct periods: his early work in Lithuania, which was influenced by Western European art movements such as pop art and pointillism, and his later work in Germany, which was more minimalist and focused on natural forms. He also created illustrations for books and was a member of the Lithuanian Artists' Association.
