Aljaž Celarc

Biography:

Aljaž Celarc is a Slovenian artist known for his work with wood and sustainable living. He has collaborated with Eva Pavlič Seifert on various projects, including the renovation of a house called Mandrova in Novi Kot, Slovenia. Together they formed the project Hiša Mandrova, which focuses on creating eco-friendly homes using traditional techniques. Celarc and Seifert have also co-authored a book titled 'Življenje in delo z lesom' (Life and Work with Wood) that explores sustainable living practices through their experiences renovating the house Mandrova. Celarc has exhibited his work at various galleries, including Photon Gallery AT. He is also a member of Membrana Journal, an international platform for contemporary art.
