Biography:

Alojz Drahoš is a Slovak artist, born on April 11, 1954, in Zohor. He studied at the Secondary School of Applied Arts in Bratislava from 1969 to 1973 and later at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava from 1975 to 1981. Drahoš has worked as a pedagogue at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design and the Pedagogical Faculty of Comenius University in Bratislava. He is a member of the Association of Visual Artists of Western Slovakia and the Association of Medallists of Slovakia. Drahoš's work includes sculpture, monumental interior and exterior creation, medals, and larger works. He has exhibited his work both domestically and internationally.
