Biography:

Eugène Druet was a French photographer and art dealer born in Paris in 1867 and died in 1916. He was the owner of a café and bar across the street from Auguste Rodin's Paris studio, and became the sculptor's photographer. He was made an Officer of the Instruction Publique in 1908. His archives are kept at the Archives départementales des Yvelines.
