Anatol Wladyslaw, also known as Anatol Władysław, was a Polish artist born in Łódź, Poland in 1913. He died in 1990. Wladyslaw was a member of the Grupo Ruptura, a group of artists who sought to advance modern art in Brazil in the 1950s. He was known for his concrete art, which was characterized by strong geometric shapes and bold colors. Wladyslaw's work often incorporated political themes, including a series of works depicting Adolf Hitler, one of which was created in 1979. Wladyslaw's work has been exhibited in galleries and museums around the world, including the São Paulo Museum of Modern Art.
