Biography:

Andrzej Różycki was a Polish artist, film director, screenwriter, photographer, multimedia artist, thinker and art theorist. He graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń and later became a lecturer there. Andrzej Różycki was a member of the Zero-61 group and co-founder of the Łódź Film Form Workshop. He created around sixty films related to ethnology, art, and folk rituals. He collaborated with the Educational Film Studio in Łódź during the 1970s and 1980s.
