Josep Maria Bartomeu i Floreta, also known as Bartomeu Master, was born in Barcelona, Spain, in 1963. He is a Spanish entrepreneur and the former president of FC Barcelona, a position he held from 2014 to 2020. He is also a partner and CEO of the ADELTE Group and EFS, Equipo Facility Services. Bartomeu is married and has two children. He is a lifelong football fan and has been involved in the sport for many years. In addition to his business career, he has given lectures at prestigious academic institutions such as Harvard University and the London Business School. Bartomeu is also a patron of the arts and has been involved in the art world as a collector and supporter of artists. He is particularly interested in the works of Bartolomé Bartomeu, a Spanish artist and sculptor who is known for his sculpture 'Calvary'.
