Biography:
Beto de Volder is an Argentinian Postwar & Contemporary artist, born in 1962 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He is known for his soft geometries that unfold in space in openwork shapes made up of lines that run through curves. He currently lives and works in New York City. He studied at the Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes Manuel Belgrano in Buenos Aires and has received numerous awards, including the first prize at the National Salon of Argentina in 1992. His works are exhibited in important galleries and museums such as Hutchinson Modern & Contemporary, Del Infinito, and the Museum of Modern Art in Buenos Aires.
