Biography:
Candela Cort Fernández is a Spanish artist born in Madrid in 1959. She studied Fine Arts and developed her artistic activity in the fields of painting, photography, and hat design. Her hats are known for being flexible, moldable, and made with perishable and non-noble materials. She is very sensitive to materials and always seeks those that are most ductile. She has exhibited her work in various museums and galleries, including the Reina Sofia Museum in Madrid and the Homo Faber Guide. She has also collaborated with LZF Lamps as a designer. Candela Cort has received recognition for her work, including being selected as a member of the Michelangelo Foundation and participating in the Master of Postgraduate 'Architecture and Fashion' at the Technical School of Architecture in Madrid. She is also part of the Circulo de Orellana.
