Early Life and Education
Charles-Théodore Frère, a renowned French Orientalist painter, was born on June 21, 1814, in Paris. He pursued his passion for art at the École des Beaux-Arts, where he studied under the tutelage of Jules Coignet and Camille Roqueplan.
