Biography:
Christabel Forbes is a young colourist whose individual treatment of landscape is unmistakably her own. Born in 1991 in Courbevoie, outside Paris, of mixed French and British heritage, she has established herself as a prominent artist in the contemporary art scene.
Christabel graduated with a BA in Fine Art from Falmouth University in 2014. She later trained at The Royal Drawing School, where she honed her skills in drawing and painting. Her education and training have had a significant impact on her artistic style, which is characterized by bold and vibrant colors.
Christabel's work is inspired by her surroundings, and she often uses landscape as a subject matter. Her paintings are not just representations of the physical world but also explorations of the human experience. She is drawn to the interplay between reality and imagination, which is reflected in her use of color and shape.
