Biography:

Daniel Meisner or Daniel Meißner was a German poet and probably also a engraver. He is best known as the co-author of Thesaurus Philopoliticus (de) with Eberhard Kieser. This work consists of a series of engravings accompanied by texts in Latin, which were published between 1623 and 1625. Meisner was also an important figure in Renaissance art and culture.
