David Černý is a Czech artist born in Prague in 1967. He is known for his sculptures that can be seen in different locations around Prague and in his own, Prague-based museum. Černý's works often incorporate humor and provocation, and have been the subject of both praise and controversy. One of his most famous works is 'Babies', a series of sculptures depicting babies with bar code faces, which have been installed in various locations around the world, including Prague's Žižkov Television Tower and Kampa Island.
