August Endell was a German architect and designer, born in Berlin in 1871 and died in 1925. He was a key figure in the Jugendstil movement and is known for his organic and expressive designs. Endell was also a professor at the Technical University of Berlin and wrote several books on art and design. He was a member of the German Werkbund and the Deutscher Künstlerbund.
