Erasto Cortés Juárez was a Mexican artist and founding member of the Salón de la Plástica Mexicana. He was born on August 26, 1900, in Tepeaca, Puebla, Mexico, and died on December 8, 1972, in Mexico City. In 1917 he began his professional studies at the Academy of San Carlos.
