Francesc Pascual Granes, also known as Francesc Pascual Granés, was a Spanish artist born in Lloret de Mar, Spain in 1848. He was a sculptor who worked with polychrome woodcarving. One of his most famous works is the figurehead of La Blanca Aurora, a corvette built in 1848. The figurehead is a carving of Maria Parés, the daughter of the captain and armador of the ship. The Blanca Aurora was owned by various proprietors and was eventually dismantled in Rio de Janeiro. Silvestre Parés, the father of Maria Parés, recovered the mascaron and brought it back to Catalonia. Francesc Pascual Granes died in Barcelona, Spain.
