Nunca, also known as Francisco Rodrigues da Silva, is a Brazilian street artist born in São Paulo in 1983. He began his career at the age of 12, using the technique of pichação, a form of graffiti unique to Brazil. He later developed his own style, characterized by the use of bright colors and lines that combine Brazilian traditions with contemporary themes. Nunca's work often confronts modern urban Brazil with its native past, and his name, which means 'never' in Portuguese, is an affirmation of his determination not to be bound by cultural or psychological constraints. Nunca is considered one of the most famous street artists of his generation.
