František Hudeček was a Czech painter, graphic artist, and illustrator. He was born on April 7, 1909, in Němčice u Holešova, Czech Republic. Hudeček studied at the Uměleckoprůmyslové školy v Praze and was a member of the Skupina 42, a Czech artistic group established in 1942. He was known for his paintings and drawings, which often featured common townspeople and industrial landscapes. Hudeček died on May 13, 1990, in Prague, Czech Republic.
