Franz Josef Frühbeck was an Austrian artist born in Vienna, Austria in 1795. He is known for his works depicting Brazilian landscapes and scenes from the early 19th century. One of his notable pieces is 'Ansieht Jer R Residenz in Rio Janeiro', created in 1817 using tempera as a medium. Frühbeck was part of the entourage that accompanied Princess Leopoldina on her journey to Brazil and remained in the country for some time, leaving behind a collection of artworks capturing his experiences there.
