Biography:
Georges Pallu (1869–1948) was a French screenwriter and film director active in the silent and early sound eras. Pallu directed more than forty short and feature films during his career. He is also sometimes credited as George Pallu. Before working in films, he was an avocat and Army officer, and personal secretary to the French Minister for Public Instruction. He started working in films in 1911 with Pathé Frères and later worked with Invicta Film from 1918 to 1924.
