Biography:
Georges Dupré was a French sculptor and medallist. He studied under Oscar Roty and Gabriel-Jules Thomas. Dupré was a member of the Société des artistes français since 1902 and received an honorable mention at the Salon des artistes français in 1893. In 1896, he won the Premier Grand Prix de Rome for engraving in medals and fine stones. Dupré's work includes sculptures and medallions, and he was known for his skill in capturing the subtleties of human expression.
