Biography:
Héctor Madera González is a Puerto Rican artist born in Bayamón in 1977. He has exhibited his work in various individual and collective exhibitions in prestigious institutions such as the Museum of the Barrio in New York, the Museum of Contemporary Art of San Juan, the National Museum of Puerto Rican Arts and Culture in Chicago, and the Museum of Art of Bayamón. He has collaborated with other artists such as Bobby Cruz. His work is multidisciplinary and explores themes such as space, memory, and social identity. He has participated in social movements and has been recognized for his activism in urban land and territory in Caracas, Venezuela.
