Handan Börüteçene is a Turkish contemporary artist born on December 12, 1957, in Istanbul. She studied at the Devlet Güzel Sanatlar Akademisi (State Academy of Fine Arts) in Istanbul and later graduated from Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris. Börüteçene's work often explores themes related to archaeology, history, and sociology. She has exhibited her artworks at various institutions such as the Istanbul Museum of Modern Art, Arter (art center), and Saltonline.org.
