Biography:

Helena Fernández-Cavada is a Spanish artist born in Madrid in 1976. She is a recipient of the Civil Order of Alfonso X, the Wise. Her work focuses on visual art, multimedia and graffiti, and she has exhibited at the Centro Cultural Border in Mexico City. She has also contributed to the library at the Centro Cultural Border, which has materials in English and Spanish about illustration, graffiti, design and contemporary art. Fernández-Cavada's work has been recognized for its focus on urban art and its role in the production, formation and awareness of emerging contemporary art.
