Henri Bles, also known as Herri met de Bles, Herri de Dinant, Herry de Patinir, was a painter born in Bouvignes-sur-Meuse around 1500 and died after 1550. His work is an important link between the Anvers maniéristes, Brueghel the Elder and the landscape painters of the late sixteenth century. He is known for his landscapes and is considered one of the greatest Flemish painters of the sixteenth century.
