Biography:
Keijō Shūrin (1440–1518) was a Zen monk and artist from Japan. He is known for his lengthy dedicatory verse around 1488 for a painting of Nobumitsu that is now lost. The inscription suggests that he was a well-known and respected figure in his time. Keijō Shūrin's work is highly valued in Japan and is considered an important part of the country's cultural heritage.
