Biography:
Irène Dana was a French fashion designer, born in Paris in 1904. She was the director of the Schiaparelli fashion house during Elsa Schiaparelli's absence from 1941 to 1945. Dana was responsible for the management of the Place Vendôme salon and the creation of new collections. She passed away in 1978.
