Biography:

Kika Carvalho is a Brazilian visual artist born in Vitória, Brazil, in 1992. She is known for being the first woman to paint murals in the city of Vitória, located in the state of Espírito Santo, Brazil. Carvalho's artworks have been exhibited in various galleries and museums, including Luce Gallery, Pinacoteca, and galleries in Portugal, Italy, and the United States. In 2021, she was nominated for the PIPA Prize and, in 2022, some of her works were featured on the TV Globo program 'Encontro com Fátima Bernardes' as 'Artista da Semana'. Carvalho's artistic practice is based on different techniques and she has a degree in Visual Arts from the Federal University of Espírito Santo (UFES).
