Biography:

Jarosław Fliciński is a visual artist and painter born in 1963 in Gdańsk, Poland. He is represented by Le Guern Gallery in Poland, Galerie De Expeditie in Amsterdam, and Å»ak | Branicka in Berlin. Fliciński is known for his paintings, spatial realizations, site-specific works, installations, objects, and films. His most famous series of works include 'Jumping into the Water'. He studied at the Architecture Department of the Gdańsk University of Technology and at the Painting Department of the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Gdańsk. Fliciński has had numerous solo exhibitions, including at Galeria Monopol in Warsaw, Galeria Wschód in Warsaw, and Galerie De Expeditie in Amsterdam. He currently lives and works in Poland.
