Jessie French, also known as Jessie Inchauspé, is a French influencer and New York Times bestselling author. She was born in Naarm / Melbourne, Australia in 1988. She holds a bachelor's degree in mathematics from King's College London, and a master's degree in biochemistry from Georgetown University. After an accident that broke her back at age 19, she became interested in health. She worked at the genetics start-up 23andMe as product lead. In 2019, she started the @glucosegoddess Instagram account, sharing graphs made from her own continuous glucose monitor data to illustrate nutritional science. In April 2022, she released her debut book, 'Glucose Revolution: the life-changing power of balancing your blood sugar.' Over 1 million copies have been sold worldwide. In May 2023, she released her second book, 'The Glucose Goddess Method.' Her views are criticized by Professor François Jornayvaz, department head at Geneva University Hospitals, who states that her method doesn't work and is based on very little evidence.
