Jiří Bouda was a Czech Postwar & Contemporary artist who was born in 1934 in Prague, Czech Republic. He was a graphic artist, painter, and illustrator. Bouda's work has been offered at auction multiple times, with realized prices ranging from 5 USD to 664 USD, depending on the size and medium of the artwork. He was the son of Cyril Bouda, also a painter and graphic artist, and the grandson of Alois Bouda, a painter. Bouda studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague and was a member of the Hollar group. He lived and worked in Prague. Bouda passed away in 2015.
