João António Correia Da Silva

was a Portuguese painter and art professor, born in Porto, Portugal in 1822 and died in Porto in 1896. He was the son of António José Correia, a textile businessman, and Tomásia Rosa Graça. João António Correia Da Silva enrolled at the 'Academia Real de Marinha e Comércio' in Porto, taking the course in design from 1836 to 1838.
