Falcão Trigoso was a Portuguese painter born in Lisbon in 1879 and died in 1956. He was a representative of the Portuguese Late Naturalism and a member of the Group of Silva Porto. His paintings are known for their healthy joy and for mirroring his soul with hymns of nature. Falcão Trigoso was a disciple of Carlos Reis, Veloso Salgado, and Simões de Almeida, and he was passionate about the scenic beauty of the Algarve. He exhibited his work for the first time in 1921 in Porto and again in 1924 in the Salão Silva Porto. Falcão Trigoso's work has been offered at auction multiple times, with realized prices ranging from 445 USD to an undisclosed amount.
