Biography:

Johnny a/k Barangan is a Malaysian metal craftsman born in Sibu, Sarawak in 1974. He is known for his work in traditional Parang Ilang making, a skill he learned from his father. In 2012, he was recognized as a Master Craftsman by Kraftangan Malaysia. He currently owns a workshop next to his home at Mile 16 of the Sibu-Bintulu Road in Sibu, where he continues to create and sell his traditional Parang Ilang.
