Josep Morell i Macias was a Spanish Impressionist & Modern artist who was born in Sant Esteve d'En Bas, Spain in 1899. He studied at the Escuela de Bellas Artes de Santa Isabel de Hungría in Sevilla and traveled extensively throughout his career. His work has been offered at auction multiple times with realized prices ranging from $53 to $2,750 USD depending on the size and medium of the artwork. Since 2013, the record price for this artist at auction is $2,750 USD for DIA DEL LIBRO sold at Swann Auction Galleries in 2014. He passed away in Barcelona, Spain in 1949.
