Biography:

Juozas Kėdainis (December 31, 1915 – November 12, 1998) was a Lithuanian sculptor. He studied at the Kaunas Art School from 1933 to 1939 and later taught at the Kaunas Academy of Arts from 1945 to 1951. Kėdainis was a professor at the Vilnius Academy of Fine Arts from 1970 until his death in 1998. He is known for his sculptures that often depicted everyday life scenes and people.
