Biography:

Karl Kästner and Hwa Ja Götz are artists who have worked together on various projects, including the reconstruction of a dodo for the Museum für Naturkunde Berlin. Kästner is known for his work in plastic, while Götz is a photographer and artist who has also worked on the Animal Sound Archive at the museum. Götz was born in Seoul, South Korea, and studied at the Berlin University of the Arts before joining the Museum für Naturkunde Berlin. Kästner was born in Germany and has also worked on various other projects at the museum. The two artists have also collaborated on other projects, including a series of sculptures called 'Terrible Wonder'.
