Konrad Smoleński is a Polish multimedia artist known for his experimental works in video, photography, music, performance, and installations. He was born in Kalisz, Poland in 1977. Smoleński's artistic practice often incorporates spectacular pyrotechnic effects, contrasting with the minimal punk aesthetic. His works are characterized by precision and an ascetic character. He has experimented with various media, including video, installation, performance, and music. Smoleński is also a musician and has been involved in organizing the Pink Punk music scene. He co-founded the Penerstwo group in 2007. Some of his notable works include '8780h', 'Guard', 'Energy Hunters', and 'Everything Was Forever, Until It Was No More'. He represented Poland at the Venice Art Biennale in 2013 with his monumental installation titled 'Everything Was Forever, Until It Was No More'.
