Biography:
Kuang Xü was born in Anhui, China in 1874. He was a Chinese artist and printmaker, known for his woodblock prints. He graduated from the Shanghai Theatre Academy's Department of Stage Design in 1888. Kuang Xü was one of the key artists of the Chinese Lyrical Movement and was a prominent figure in the Shanghai School. He died in 1909.
