Lü Fengzi was a Chinese artist, professor, and then Director of the Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts. He had a crucial role in the education of Chinese artists and was known for his ink and color paintings on alum paper. He was born in Danyang, Jiangsu Province, in China and died in 1959.
