Biography:

Lajos Mack and Sándor Apáti Abt were Hungarian artists who collaborated on various ceramic works. They are best known for their work with Zsolnay, a Hungarian manufacturer of porcelain, tiles, and stoneware. The duo introduced the eosin glazing process and pyrogranite ceramics to create unique and intricate designs. Their most famous piece is an ornamental jug with relief decoration from 1899.
