Langhirano

Biography:

Langhirano is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Parma in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna. It is known for its castle of Torrechiara and the Abbey of Santa Maria della Neve, as well as being a major production centre for the Prosciutto di Parma. The town is also notable as the childhood home of soprano Renata Tebaldi.
