Biography:
Laura Vinci is a Brazilian artist born in São Paulo in 1961. She studied at the Escola de Artes Visuais do Parque Lage and at the Escola de Comunicações e Artes da Universidade de São Paulo. Vinci is known for her installations, sculptures, and works with light and shadow. Her work often explores the relationship between art, science, and technology. She has exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Brazil and abroad, and her work is part of several public and private collections. Vinci has also received several awards and recognitions for her artistic career, including the Prêmio Sergio Motta de Arte e Tecnologia in 2000 and the Prêmio Funarte de Artes Plásticas in 2006.
