Biography:

Seahyun Lee is a Korean Asian Modern & Contemporary painter, born in 1967 in South Korea. He is known for his work 'Between Red-187' and other artworks. His works are currently being shown at CHOI&CHOI Gallery, Cologne. Lee Seahyun's artworks are inspired by his time in the Korean military, during which he was stationed in a remote location. His paintings are characterized by their use of red and white, and often depict landscapes and buildings. Lee Seahyun's works may seem like utopia, but they actually capture dystopia created by humans. He had a solo exhibition at Union Gallery, London in 2008, titled 'Sea Hyun Lee: Between Red'. He currently lives and works in South Korea.
