Biography:
Leopold Ludwig Müller was a German painter born in Berlin in 1767. He was the son of a Berlin merchant and showed an early interest in painting. He received his first art education from the painter Johann Christoph Friedrich Hölder. Later, he studied at the Berlin Academy of Arts under the guidance of Daniel Chodowiecki. Müller was known for his genre scenes and portraits. He died in Berlin in 1838.
