Biography:
Mahmoud Obaidi, also known as Mahmoud Obaïdi, was born in Baghdad, Iraq in 1966. He is an Iraqi-Canadian artist who obtained a BA in fine art from the Academy of Fine Arts, Baghdad in 1990. He left Iraq in 1991 and obtained a diploma in New Media at Ryerson University in Canada. He has been living and working in Toronto since 1991. Obaidi's work has been exhibited in museums and galleries around the world. He is also known for his collaboration in the design of the Nabu Museum in Lebanon.
